Rooftop Terror

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

I’m very happy about cameras in public spaces,” Mr. Rosner said. “If you’re in a public space doing something inappropriate, I’m all for that. But if I’m in my house and you’re using multimillion-dollar equipment to film me, not at all.”

He must be a terrorist. Lock him up till he tells us where bin Laden is!

That being said: Can I see my file please?

And while we’re at it, let’s review the the shifting sands of freedom while we make sure the streets are safe.

Engine Upgrade

Tuesday, December 20th, 2005

We have taken out the factory-installed engine that runs your website and are replacing it with the equivilent of a turbo v-10 Hemi. And while we’re at it we’re bolting on some 25-inch wheels too.

What does this mean for your website? It means is using some of the same code that runs the biggest, most robust websites in the world and it means can get a lot more mileage out of the same website you have now.

Contact me now to find out how you can take advantage of these upgrades.

Red River Valley

Friday, December 16th, 2005

Love this song. Sang it tonight at full volume. Thought I would compile the lyrics for fun. [Gotta love the immediacy of the internet!]

Red River Valley

From this valley they say you are going
We will miss your bright eyes and sweet smile
For they say you are taking the sunshine
That has brightened our pathways awhile

CHORUS:
Come and sit by my side, if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
Just remember the Red River Valley
And the cowboy who loved you so true

I’ve been thinking a long time, my darling
Of the sweet words you never would say
Now, alas, must my fond hopes all vanish
For they say you are gong away

Do you think of the valley you’re leaving
O how lonely and how dreary it will be
Oh, and think of the dear heart you’re breaking,
And the grief that you’re causing me

From this valley they say you are going,
When you go, may your true love go, too?
Would you leave me behind abandoned?
When I love no other but you?

I have promised you, darling, that never
Will a word from my lips cause you pain;
And my life, it will be yours forever
If you only will love me again

As you go to your home by the ocean
May you never forget those sweet hours
That we spent in the Red River Valley
And the love we exchanged mid the flowers

They will bury me where you have wandered
Near the hills where the daffodils grow
When you’re gone from the Red River Valley
For I can’t live without you I know
