Woke at 6am to birds chirping and a nite sky. What will today bring? I am looking forward to it.
Margaret goes to her conference at 7:30 and Max and I take off to explore.
Oahu is quite different than Maui! Two shots from a 7-11. You don’t see this selection of fast food just anywhere!
After a great attempt, we finally get to the (literal) end of the road. So I get out and walk. Max joins me. As we head back he asks me to stop and enjoy the view because; “We are at the most beautiful part!” I couldn’t agree more.
Federal Reserve – No Unauthorized Hunting
(Which begs the question of how to get authorization 😉
Me being me, I back up and try another road. This one leads to a leaning shipping container. Cool!
We encounter two great signs.
Visitors Park Outside (Wait, what!?)
Shot Again
This entire area is cool. It seems like an incredibly fertile zone. I wonder what they grow here.
On our way back to the resort we stop at the local supermarket. I am impressed with the size of the store and the types of items for sale. So, of course, I can’t resist snapping a few photos.
Max loves playing with the fish.
Off to the beach/pool.
Took a trip out on the Hololea Kai to swim with fish and watch whales. Our crew was fabü! Great fun.
Max and Margaret sacked out for the ride home.
And then it is back to the hot tub.
What’s for dinner? Margaret is eating with her group while Max and I grub by the pool. The lamb is calling Max and I will go for the shrimp and sea scallop linguini. Mai Tais all around.
