How can I listen to NPR? It is supposed to offer “news”. The other morning I had it on by mistake and the top three stories were
1) Saddam testified in court
2) Rice met with someone in Australia about terror
3) Some fires that burned up a lot of ground
Fear, fear and more fear. Where are the stories about people changing the world for the better? Where is the hope? Where is the love? While I know the revolution will not be televised, I figured we might at least hear about it on the radio. Instead all we hear is government propaganda aimed to keep us cowering.
What is the point? I am not afraid of the dark. Why should I fear my government?
