Embed vs. traditional link

When you use the traditional href=”” link to your multi-media file your visitors will open a new window when they want to review your work. However, you can save them the extra click if you embed the file in your post. Additionally, visitors will not see the file in a blank window. Embeding files allow folks experience the your multi-media files from within your post.

Why is this beneficial? Once the page loads all they have to do is click play and they will experience the file within their browser. This is a simple way to give folks access to your media.

The only downside I can see is that every time they read your post they will, automatically, download the file to their local computer. Is this a problem? You have to be the judge of that.

Here are two examples. The first is embeded, the second is a traditional link.
