I do not think armies are the cause of our problems. Relationships based on exchange is. Borders, armies and money are the three foundations of our “civilization” that force this type of interaction. Humans need to interact not based on exchange and fear. Everyone should have enough to eat, clothing, housing and an education that encourages them to be who they are truly meant to be.
No one… no one should have the right to kill another for any reason. We will only become truly human when we, as a single family, understand that. Armies are one part of what keeps us from realizing our true potential.
