Another Bad “Pretty” Site: www.goincase.com

I walk into an Apple Store and pick up a new iPod 60GB today but they were out of cases. I have previously enjoyed the incase ones so I figured I would go to their website [www.goincase.com] and order one. No only would the website not load in Safari, the default browser for Apple computers, but it took me over a minute to get basic information about which cases would work with my iPod. I searched all around and could not find a way to actually purchase anything off the website. And to make matters worse – they did not direct me to a website where I could – except back to where I started: store.apple.com.

What a joke.

Oh, and did I mention that because the site is all done in Flash, Google does not even rate them. Try it: type in “incase” and “iPod” into Google. Talk about bad marketing. As an aside, type in “yvod” and you will see a bunch of listings for our site.

I mean come on, you have a client who wants to buy your products and not only can they not find your site, once they get there the site might not load and if it does, they can not purchase what they are looking for. Good thing these folks have Apple to help them sell in the Apple Stores. They probably spent $10,000+ on a “pretty” site that does little but aggravate potential clients.
