My issue with abortion is not over the death of the child. My issue is trying to figure out why people think they have a right to tell another what to do with their own body. The baby that is growing in her body is growing in HER body.
Our government does not have the right to forcibly start the process. Why should it (or any human) have a right to forcibly stop it?
In my view, telling a woman what she can do with her body is a form of slavery.
PS: Seeing gross medical procedures is not something I enjoy. For me at least, the worst is seeing the effects of war on children. Many of the same people who will bomb children in Iraq claim that the life of an unborn child is sacred.
