Mexico/USA border It is so strange to me that we, as humans, have this need to create borders between us. What are we protecing? What are we afraid of?

We are protecting ourselves from drug dealers, illegal alien smugglers, and potentially terrorists. If you don’t think this is important, then you should also not lock your doors to your house and leave car unlocked. There are plenty of bad people in the word – this is the reality. If people want to come to the US, then there is a legal way to become a US citizen or a guest worker.

While the current reality is clear – there are “Evildoers” in the world, I believe there is a better way. I do not think we will find a better way by locking people out.
I posted this image simply because it exemplifies one of the absurdities of our current system. Here you have a beautiful beach and some foolish wall that separates it. 100 years from now, when we have no borders, no military and no money, folks will look back and wonder how folks put up with such affronts to humanity.
