One word: Toast
Grab the latest version. Drop the file into Toast. Toast it (ie: burn the disk). Plop it in your DVD player. Works like a charm.
There are other ways, but this is the best – for a fee.
Crunch and Popcorn are less expensive and work as well 😉
Note: If you need to make a copy of a “real” (ie: copy protected) DVD, you will want to either use MacTheRipper to grab the files off the DVD and then use Toast to duplicate them… or with one pass, use Handbrake (my personal favorite!)
