The answer depends on what you are looking for. If you want something that is free and easy and podcasting is a hobby for you, sure. If you are a professional, podomatic has two major faults:
1) You lose control of your content
Once you upload your content you no longer control it. I doubt you even own it. You certainly have no rights to limit its distribution.
2) You are given a tiny amount of storage.
Media files are by definition large files. 500Mb is a tiny amount (less than 5 minutes of good quality web video or about 500 minutes of good quality audio). Even when you bump up to the “Pro” version you only get 2Gb.

We use podPress for all our podcasting websites. It is easy to configure, works great and is simple to use. It can even be configured to post your podcast automatically on iTunes.
