Fake Apple Scandal #4 – After investing tens of thousands of dollars into their troubled relationship, after spending sleepless nights nursing NT servers back to health after they fall off the wagon to binge on worms and the other malware they have a genetic propensity to be addicted to, after growing dependent upon calling up the Redmond Father’s TechNet for advice on how to deal with the regular schizoid mania and subsequent crashing of Windows, it’s difficult to start over with something entirely new.

I can sign up for the niffty little 99¢/minute voice plan for $5/month but then >>DATA<< is priced at 2¢/Kb!! That means if I check mail at all… I will get dinged for some incredible amount. Oh… and SMS messages are 50¢ each. There is a data plan that gives me up to 20Mb per month but that is $25/month and requires a YEAR contract!!! WTF?!?!?

Looks like I will purchase a local phone instead of using my iPhone. Shame…

I implore you Apple… please figure out how to move the beast called AT&T into the present. $20/month for data in the USA sets up an expectation for an easy plan when traveling internationally. You guys need to figure something out…
