My eight year old does a professional job (albeit for 2 mins) on my shoulders, and quite willingly. He uses a massage to get one for himself, or when I'm cranky so he can get me to play. I tought him by telling him to pay attention to what feels good to him, and then do the same for me. =) Life is great with a boopa. You can train him to rub your feet, your shoulders, your back.
